- Stack Overflow made some...interesting...choices this past week and made a lot of people understandably upset. Long story short: stop selling user content to train AIs!
- This story of how He Gets Us plays fast and loose with user data is telling and disappointing. Don't trust them with your stories.
- Need a good laugh? Read this story about a bum gun!
- I found this story about the important role twitch streamers are playing in reporting on the protests at universities very interesting.
- This one just goes to show you how important it is to understand metadata, what it is and why it matter. (TLDR: Protonmail give info about an account that led to an arrest)
- Speaking of metadata, this is absolutely harrowing. Basically it looks at some reports that metadata from WhatsApp is being used for drone targeting in Gaza.
Apps I'm Trying:
First from last week - I'm still trying Sofa/Ketchup/Tusks but I'm not sure I'm going to do much more with Cleft. Still trying to decide though.
